it or not but people tend to overpay by overlooking
discounts for which they qualify for.

owed the insured motorists up to $38 million dollars and
$300 million dollars statewide. Many companies offer these
discounts voluntarily and are required by law to provide you

Passive Restraints (Air Bags)
Airbags are designed to work together with seat belts and
when used properly it reduces the risk of serious injuries
in an accident.
Having this feature on your vehicle entitles you to a
discount.
Please be advised that having both driver and passenger
airbags entitles you to a higher discount than just having a
driver side airbag.

Passive Restraint (Automatic Seat
Belts)
Seat belts reduce the risk of serious or fatal injuries in a
crash.
Forty-nine States enforce this mandatory safety belt law and
although the seat belt law doesn’t make you a responsible
driver, it is likely that you will not forget to use a seat
belt should your car be equipped with the feature of
automatic seatbelts.
Having AUTOMATIC seat belts as a feature on your vehicle
entitles you to a discount.

Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS)
Anti-lock brakes are designed to help drivers avoid crashes
and is now a widely available feature on newly purchased
vehicles. They reduce loss of stability and allow the driver
to maintain steering control.
Having this feature on your vehicle entitles you to a
discount.

towards:
PROPERTY DAMAGE coverage,
PERSONAL INJURY PROTECTION (PIP) coverage,
BODILY INJURY PROTECTION coverage
and

Anti Theft Devices
Each year millions of cars are reported stolen in the U.S.
and it’s a fast growing crime.
Installing an approved alarm system or other protection
devices will entitle you to a discount.

device are applied (discounted) towards the:
COMPREHENSIVE coverage of your auto insurance policy.
Defensive Driver Course (DDC)
A Defensive Driving Course sharpens your defensive driving
skills and makes you a safer, more alert and informed
driver.
Having taken a Defensive Driving Course may reduce up to
four (4) points (DMV points) off your license and can save
you up to ten (10%) percent towards your auto insurance
premium for up to three (3) years.
Discounts for taking a Defensive Driving Course are
applied (discounted) towards:
LIABILITY coverage and COLLISION
coverage of your
auto insurance policy.
Defensive Driver Status
No tickets or accidents and continuous coverage for
thirty-six (36) months qualifies you for a discount towards
your auto insurance policy.
